Portable Powerhouse

Jenny Products, Inc. introduces two compressor/generator combination models, providing both portable air and a power source in one versatile machine for a variety of industrial, construction and do-it-yourself applications. According to Jenny Products, the K11HGA-17P-3000W features its renowned K pump, a heavy-duty, single-stage cast-iron compressor pump. The unit is powered by an 11-horsepower Honda GX series OHV engine with electric start and produces 8.9 cfm at 100 psi or 8.6 cfm at 125 psi for quick recovery. Featuring a G pump and a 13-horsepower, electric start Honda GX engine, the G13HGA-17P-3000W delivers 16.2 cfm at 100 psi or 15.6 cfm at 125 psi. Each model includes a 3,000-watt, 115V/230V generator, providing a convenient solution for powering electric tools, lighting or other jobsite equipment, or as a backup power source during instances of power failure. High Definition Home

Phifer’s new BetterVue insect screening for windows, doors and porches is an excellent visibility insect screen (eVis) designed to maximize your outward view. According to Phifer, “BetterVue is woven from small, refined yarns that improve the screen’s openness, making visibility sharper and more brilliant. Think of it as ‘high definition’ insect screening for your windows, doors and screened porches.” BetterVue is constructed with a 5 percent greater openness than conventional insect screens, resulting in better visibility, light transmittance and airflow, says the company. The mesh’s aperture opening is 30 percent smaller than standard fiberglass insect screens, providing even better insect protection. With a durability that makes it suitable for all window and door applications, BetterVue performs well in tropical and high humidity regions, and the ease of fabrication is comparable to that of today’s standard fiberglass screen. That’s a Wrap

Fypon recently introduced the PVC unassembled column wrap in an economy plain style. According to the company, the complete kit arrives with the PVC shaft panels, base, cap, nailing blocks and installation cleats in one box, and is designed to save installers jobsite installation time and effort. The free-floating decorative unassembled column wraps can be positioned around existing wood or steel structural porch or deck posts. A lock-miter step assures ease of assembly while allowing for flexible wrap positioning. The free movement of the wrap around the post during installation creates the best alignment of the columns in relation to each other and in alignment with the porch. This unique feature of Fypon column wraps makes it possible for builders and remodelers to line the column wraps up perfectly, even if the support structures are not exactly parallel to one another.
