Watts Wins $22.3 Million Federal Contract
Watts Constructors was awarded a $22.3 million contract in August for the Combined Arms Collective Training Facility (CACTF) at Kahuku Training Area on Oahu.
The facility will consist of multiple range training buildings along with additional administrative and training areas. Construction will include sitework and grading, roadways and parking, utility infrastructure, environmental mitigation/compliance, foundations, single and multistory concrete masonry units and steel construction.
“We look forward to working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on this project. They are a great partner and a repeat customer,” says Kelvin Osborne, Watts’ vice president of Hawaii operations.
Watts — which recently achieved 2 million work hours without a lost-time accident — currently has more than $410 million in federal contracts under construction in Hawaii
