Building Blocks
Maui Blocks, Inc. presents its concrete masonry burnish, an architectural unit for interior and exterior load-bearing walls. What advantages does it have over similarly marketed products?
“We now have the equipment required to produce burnished blocks to create a finish similar to polished stone,” says Yoshio “Yoshi” Shimabukuro of Maui Blocks. “Burnished block is manufactured by grinding the top surface off of a precision block face to reveal the aggregate matrix within the block. The installation of burnished block is similar to that of precision block, which may be used for interior or exterior. A sealer is typically applied after installation to accentuate the color of the finished wall.”

You Have The Power
Subaru introduces two new compact conventional generators, the RGX3000 and RGX3800, designed to handle a wide variety of needs on Hawaii jobsites.
The RGX3000 is powered by Subaru’s six-horsepower EX17 engine. The unit delivers a maximum output of 3,000 watts (2,400-watt standard output rating) and offers 10.3 hours of continuous operation.
Powered by the seven-horsepower EX21 engine, the RGX3800 delivers a maximum output of 3,800 watts (2,900-watt standard output rating) and can operate continuously for 9.5 hours. Also, the RGX3800 features an automatic idle control, which lowers the engine speed when no electrical power is needed. This further lessens fuel consumption while minimizing noise.

Universal Mover
The new XL 4300 III Gradall excavator allows you to take fewer machines to the jobsite and handle more jobs faster. It offers more value and versatility to sustain profitability and productivity on many different jobs.
Exceptionally stable with front axle oscillation locks, the XL 4300 III can lift and move heavy loads off both sides as well as the front and rear of the chassis all without the use of outriggers. That’s a big advantage that pays off by the end of the day, avoiding the time conventional excavators require to raise and lower outriggers at each high productivity work location. The Art of Roofing
To enhance the versatility of its Valoré slate, Valoré shake and multi-width product lines, DaVinci Roofscapes has introduced solid synthetic slate and shake accessory tiles. The unique design of the DaVinci product lines has ribbing to provide improved flexibility, reduced weight and create a thermal barrier. This results in a thick profile that is lightweight, letting air circulate below the tile and keeping both the tile and roof deck cooler. Furthermore, the durable tiles have achieved the highest ratings for straight-line wind testing at 110 mph and Class 4 impact testing ratings. They also resist curling, cracking and fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects under normal conditions.
