Building Industry is the magazine serving the interests of design, development and construction professionals throughout Hawaii and Guam. Features and news stories cover a wide range of industry-pertinent subjects, including building techniques, financing, new products and service opportunities, government activities, engineering and architecture, transportation, health care as it affects construction.

History

Since 1954, with the founding of our keystone publication "Building Industry magazine" (originally called "Builder's Weekly" and then "Builder's Report Pacific"), we have been committed to offering Hawaii's construction and allied industries the finest professional publications possible, filled with in-depth, thoroughly-researched cover stories and up-to-the-minute industry information.

The many popular regular monthly sections include New Products, Newsmakers, Contracts Awarded, and Low Bids, plus the continuing addition of timely new features such as Spotlight on Success, Building Hawaii, and Architects Corner.

In 1977, an offshoot of the original "Builder's Report Pacific" was created and named "BIDService Weekly", a publication destined to become the industry's most eagerly-awaited source of project information.

Over the ensuing years, Trade Publishing Company has added other informative industry publications, including the semi monthlies, "Building Management Hawaii" and "Hawaii Hospitality" and the annuals, "Hawaii Building Products Directory", the "Hawaii Construction Industry Guide" and the "Hawaii Construction Preview".
